Name of the Organization
1. The name of this organization is the Entrepreneur Club, Corporate Headquarters and Ft. Lauderdale Chapter

Program to Carry Out Purpose
2. Members of the Entrepreneur Club will participate in such activities as fundraising, networking, project management, company development, and other training.

Membership
3. Membership includes Keiser students from all Keiser campuses.

a) To join, the person must fill out an application, sign a confidentiality agreement, and be interviewed by the Board of Executives.
b) Qualification for membership is a desire to learn how to become an Entrepreneur.
c) Members attend meetings willingly and are not bound by any term of membership.
d) To withdraw, a member may stop attending meetings and by courtesy, may inform someone from the Board of Executives.
e) Voting privileges are extended to all members in active standing with the Club. Active standing means they have attended at least one meeting per month, participated in fundraisers, and have paid all dues, if applicable.

Meetings
4. Meetings will be held every Thursday (excluding final’s week and vacations) at 1:15pm to 2:30pm in the 2nd Floor Student Lounge.

a)Special meetings can be called by the Board of Executives
b)Quorum: A 2/3 vote of all present members, with sufficient advanced notice given to all members.
c) To get items on the agenda, members will submit their request to the meeting facilitator at least 24 hours in advance. (exceptions can be made on a situational basis)

Finance
5. The VP of Finance is responsible for all money raised by this organization.

a) A detailed financial log will be maintained and a copy will be supplied to student services.
b) Currently, there are no dues collected from any members.
c) The Entrepreneur Club is self-funded through fundraising events and contributions from members and other organizations.

Officers
6. The Entrepreneur Club is served by an Executive Committee consisting of, but not limited to, a Chapter President, Vice President, VP of Finance, and Executive Secretary.

a) Officers are elected by a 2/3 majority vote of all active Chapter members.
b) Formal elections will be held once yearly on the anniversary week in September. However, an informal election may occur at any time if a current Officer steps down or resign his or her position.
c) The Entrepreneur Club will have several Chapters served by a Corporate CEO and Cabinet. CEO’s will be voted in by a majority vote by all members of the Executive Committees. Cabinet Members will be appointed by the CEO.
d) Officers may serve as long as they continue to be elected to their positions.


Duties
1. CEO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a) Supporting a healthy growth of the organization
b) Working with Executive Committees on setting organizational goals and creating plans to attain these goals.
c) Appointing highly skilled and motivated staff to the Cabinet.
d) Overseeing the budget of the organization and ensuring these resources are being used properly and programs are being carried out as planned.
e) Maintaining important relationships with the heads of companies, institutions, departments, boards, and committees to determine the level of support of proposed programs.
f) Approving changes to the Articles of the Constitution and By-Laws through the Amendment process.

2. President
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a) Presiding at all Meetings
b) Keeping in compliance with all policies, rules, and regulations of Keiser University
c) Maintaining a ratified Constitution, meeting all requirements on file with student services each year
d) Overseeing the carrying out of responsibilities required of the Executive Committee
e) Appointing any special committees
f) Approving budgets and Scholarship amounts for members of the Executive Committee
g) Resolving any disputes involving club members
h) Acting as a liaison with Student Government, Student Services, Faculty Advisors, and any other group or company that supports the Entrepreneur Club.

3. Vice President
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a) Assisting the President in his/her official duties
b) Assuming the responsibilities of the President in his/her absence
c) Assisting in the implementation of programs
d) Serving on and attending all meetings of the Executive Committee

4. Executive Secretary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a) Overseeing the administration and management of all corporate documentation
b) Maintaining a master log of meeting minutes, agendas, financial records, events flyers, speaker notes, policies, procedures and the Constitution.
c) Supplying a current and exact copy of this master log to the Department of Student Services.
d) Performing other duties directed by the President
e) Serving on and attending all meetings of the Executive Committee

5. VP of Finance
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a) Keeping accurate records of all funds received and expended
b) Supplying two copies of these records to the Executive Secretary
c) Collecting dues, if applicable, and notifying members who are delinquent in their payments
d) Creating budget reports and proposing scholarship amounts for members of the Executive Committee
e) Performing other duties directed by the President
f) Serving on and attending all meetings of the Executive Committee
